To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Crossing the Tees Book Festival a writer-in-residence and a photographer-in-residence were commissioned to spend time in libraries throughout the five authorities of the Teesside area. Writer Debbie Rolls and photographer Jo Booth with Sixth Element Publishing produced ‘Everyone Welcome: Remembering and Celebrating Teesside Public Libraries’. In this fantastic book Debbie and Jo share their findings, the passion for books and reading that they discovered, and, most of all, the feeling that libraries are where everyone is welcome.
The book was launched during the 2023 festival and is available to borrow from libraries across the Tees Valley and purchase from Drake the Bookshop, Stockton and Book Corner, Saltburn.
