Would you like to volunteer at Crossing the Tees Book Festival?
The festival is looking for volunteers to assist library staff in hosting and facilitating events throughout the festival during the period 8-16 June 2024.
What will you be doing? Duties will vary depending on the event but could include assisting in setting up the event space (this could involve moving tables, chairs etc), welcoming and guiding attendees, serving refreshments including alcohol (over 18s only), collecting event evaluation data, tidying up after the event, welcoming authors/artists. Volunteers can specify which events/venues they would like to cover.
What skills are we looking for? Good communication skills, a can do attitude, responsibility, reliability, enthusiasm, a smile. If you have any accessibility requirements please let us know and we will be happy to tailor the volunteering opportunity to suit you.
